No
one really understands
What
its like to grow up and watch your dad
Leave
for war and come back,
I
am now 17 and my dad has been to Afghanistan and back
And
now he’s going back soon.
No
one really knows how much pain the families go through
When
they see their family member pack their bags
And
eventually have to say good bye.
As
they get on their plain they start to cry
They
don’t know if they will come back alive.
This
isn’t a joke they go to war.
And
all we can do is sit here and hope it all going to be ok.
People
really don’t know what its like for this to happen.
What
if it was your dad who went to war.
And
never came back?
Or
he did come back
But
he has to go again
And
miss the most important dates,
Imagine
your dad not being there for your birthday
Or
Christmas, or even grad.
But
he’s out serving our country and making us proud.
No
one also understands the feeling you get when your dad is labeled as a hero,
To
know that he is doing something to save the world.
Being
in military has its ups and downs
But
with out them we would all be 6 feet in the ground.
So
next time you see a military man or woman.
Thank
them for serving our country so we can live happy and free
